Flushmate

Flushmate

I think these are great. I installed one last month and it really works. There are two buttons on the face of the chromed assembly to replace your handle. The top button is smaller and convex with one drop embossed on it’s face for short flushes, the lower is larger and concave with two water drops on it for the real flushes. It’s easy to remember which to use; one drop for doing number 1 and two drops when you do number 2!
The amount of water used for the short flush can be accurately adjusted to get every ounce possible out of your savings. Simply by placing 1 square sheet of tissue in the water and flushing, then raise or lower the clicking indicator on the adjuster for easy accurate settings. When the tissue flushes away that’s your setting. It’s soaccurate
I think each click is about 3 ozs difference.
I’m buying another one this week for the upstairs toilet.
I hope they can make a different button for elderly, the top button is a little hard to push in and I think it forces unweary to slide thier finger down to the convex button which moves easier. This defeats the purpose of saving water when you only need to expel liquids. Some of my younger users also have trouble with the top button.
