no pods or K-cups. I purchased this brewer and was determined not to like it because it wasn't an "expensive" brewer. While it does have several inconveniences, like having to refill the water reservoir each time you want a cup of coffee, bottom line is it makes the best cup of coffee for a single serve coffee maker that I've ever tasted! It is a simple machine, but ideal for those who just want a delicious cup of coffee each time you turn it on. Another plus, the water gets very hot, unlike other machines I've used where the water comes out luke warm.I've had a Tassimo machine for over a year now and never seen any deals in the Supermarkets, though Tesco is my primary store so I may have missed offers in others.
For some reason, the supermarket prices have jumped up significantly for certain T-discs over the past couple of weeks.
Latte Macchiato was £3.79 in Tescos, but has now jumped up to £4.49. Asda is the same and Sainsburys have also increased to £4.28.
As you say, getting direct from Tassimo has now become competitive again as long as you spend enough for free delivery.
Apart from that, the Amazon bulk buys are usually a little cheaper.
