Southeastern Institute of Columbia was founded in 1997. Upon licensure by the South Carolina Commission on Higher Education, the school was established to provide a clinically based curriculum in the Professional Massage Therapy training program. In February of 2007, the Southeastern Institute was acquired by Dr. Arthur and Belinda Keiser, who have longterm involvement in developing and managing private colleges and schools. 
In 2009, Southeastern Institute changed its name to Southeastern Institute and expanded its program offerings beyond Massage Therapy.Southeastern Institute is institutionally accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges, 2101 Wilson Blvd, Suite 302, Arlington, Virginia, 22201.  Further information may be obtained by contacting the Commission at (703) 247-4212.Southeastern Institute is licensed by The South Carolina Commission on Higher Education, 1333 Main Street, Suite 200, Columbia, South Carolina 29201,(803) 737-2260.  Licensure indicates only that minimum standards have been met; it is not an endorsement or guarantee of quality.Southeastern Institute of Columbia was founded in 1997. There is ample free parking. All equipment used at the school is compatible with industry standards and effectively meets the objectives of the programs.Come experience a massage from an “up and coming” professional massage and bodywork therapist. Student Clinic hours are every Friday 9AM-6:15PM and Saturday from 9AM-12:45PM. Each 50 minute session isand will leave you feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. payments for a massage at the student clinic will require a credit card, debit card or personal check. Students are not compensated for services to clients; this includes gifts and tipping.
